Vyshyvanka Run Nyc
About this race
Friendly 5K run for adults and short-distance fun runs for kids. The race takes place on August 22, 2026 - Ukrainian Independence Day. All participants are welcome to join and wear their Vyshyvankas (Ukrainian traditional shirt). Our objective is a) to raise money (100% goes directly to help Ukraine) b) To promote Ukrainian culture in NYC c) to enjoy the company of the fellow runners :)
Proceeds from the race will go to AidUkraineNow.org, an organization that works directly with child rehabilitation center "Nadia" in Lubny (ЛУБЕНСЬКИЙ ДИТЯЧИЙ СОЦІАЛЬНО-РЕАБІЛІТАЦІЙНИЙ ЦЕНТР «НАДІЯ») and provides direct support to the brave defenders of Ukraine.
