About this race
Hike the Appalachian Trail (virtually) with LiveWise!
Traverse the 2,200 mile length of America's most famous footpath. The Appalachian Trail extends from Springer Mountain near Dawsonville, Georgia to Mount Katahdin in Maine, passing through 14 states along the way. To learn more, visit: www.appalachiantrail.org
Form your team of up to 10 people and start walking. The average American walks between 2,000-5,000 steps each day. This fall, we are challenging you and your teammates to walk, run, hike or stroll at least 10,000 steps daily. Log miles on this site and aim to be the first team to complete the journey. Logging begins October 1st and ends November 30th.
For simplicity, we'll use the conversion factor of 2,000 steps = 1 mile
