About this race

Join us for WALK FOR A PURPOSE 2026!

Walk For A Purpose is for all ages and all fitness levels. Choose from one of our in-person community walks or opt for the month-long virtual option.

VIRTUAL OPTION:  Walk anytime…anyplace…at your pace throughout the month of October. Walk at the park, on the trail, on the treadmill or around your neighborhood. Lace up your sneakers and take short, casual walks or strap on the Fitbit, ratchet up your stride, climb some hills and seriously track your steps.

IN-PERSON OPTION: Join one of our community walks. Walk at your own pace and start and stop whenever you want. You choose how long and how far you walk.

Walk For A Purpose is not a race or timed-event. It is an expression of support and compassion to help us ALL live longer, healthier lives in a world without breast cancer.

FEES & PERKS: Adult registration is $25 and kids walk for free!

-- Survivors: Your registration fee includes a complimentary Survivor t-shirt

-- Walkers: To keep our fees super-low, your registration fee does not include a t-shirt. However, we encourage you to add an official 2026 Walk for a Purpose t-shirt to your registration for just $20. Kid sized shirts available too! Let's walk together and dress together to show our united support!

-- When you purchase a t-shirt, look for additional fun swag to arrive in your PINK package.

-- Refreshments & water (at the community walks)

WALK STRONGER TOGETHER—BUILD A TEAM!

Walking  is even more meaningful when you do it side by side. Rally around a friend currently in treatment, join together with your co-workers, gather your family in memory of a loved one, form a group from church or the neighborhood...the options are endless! Pick a creative team name and cheer each other on.

Start or join a team to encourage a little extra fun and competition!

Start a team in 3 simple steps: 1) Register, 2) Click ‘Create a Team,’ 3) Invite friends to join

OR join a team already in place: During registration select "Join a Team"
