Warrior Waterfront 5K
About this race
Warrior Waterfront 5K - You can pick up your race bibs on the morning of the race between 8:00-9:00am at the shelter at Las Colonias Park (1461 Riverfront Dr.).
Come join us for the 2nd Warrior Waterfront 5k. This 5k will be run in conjuction with the Central High School Warrior Cross Country Invitational and all proceeds will go to support the CHS Cross Country Team. We are excited to run along the Las Colonias waterfront park area along with all of the activities available (Zip Line & Water Activities) after the race. Come watch the High School and Middle School cross country races and then join in the fun and run the Community 5K.
Course: The course will be run on the trails along the Las Colonias Waterfront Park which will consist of a mix of grass, dirt and paved trail surfaces. It will be a two loop course that will be very spectator friendly.
Schedule of Events:
7:00-8:00am - Packet Pick-up
8:30am - Boys Varsity 5K (8 Max Per Team)
8:35am - Girls Varsity 5K (8 Max Per Team)
9:00am - Boys JV/Open 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:05am - Girls JV/Open 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:30am - Middle School 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:30am - Community Waterfront 5K 5K
10:30am - Awards
11:00am - Food & Fun on the Waterfront Park (Zip Line & Watersports Rentals available)
