About this race

Please join us for a 15-17 mile bike ride through Corktown and the surrounding areas of Detroit to support our mission of giving people a fresh start.  Corner Shower and Laundry is a non-profit organization that provides shower and laundry services for unhoused individuals. 15 mile Bike Ride

The ride will start and end at Corner Shower and Laundry (CSL) but due to limited parking at CSL, we recommend parking at the Detroit Welcome Center-Pure Michigan 2835 Bagley St. We will meet at 8:30 AM with a short one mile ride to CSL and the start of the ride event. A ride representative will escort you to CSL. Consider this your warm up :) There are no public restrooms at the Welcome Center parking area. Restrooms, water and snacks will be available at CSL. Please arrive and be ready to ride no later than 8:45 AM at the Welcome Center. Participants need to bring their own bike in good working order and a helmet. Helmets are required (no exceptions). Ride support will be available. A water bottle on your bike is recommended. Please bring a spare inner tube for your bike in case you have a flat. Along the route there will be occasional stops for restrooms, snacks, and water. We also welcome donations of bleach when you arrive at the welcome center or CSL. Thank you!
