Waves of Hope 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
About this race
Join us for the Waves of Hope 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run. This is a community event benefiting the Tidal Resilience Foundation, a Northeast Florida nonprofit supporting children and families who have experienced the loss of a parent or caregiver. Your participation directly funds our ocean‑rooted resilience programs, including Resilience Kits, Resilience Weeks, and our upcoming Resilience Rides paddle‑based healing experiences.
All 5k and 1 Mile runners and walker will receive a race shirt and finisher medal.
After crossing the finish line, head over to Back 40 A1A for the official post‑race celebration, where participants can enjoy live music, great food, community, and redeem their race ticket for their first drink on the house.
Run with us, support local families, and help bring hope and healing through the lessons of the ocean.
We will be awarding our fastest runners based on age and gender. This event will be proffessionally chip timed by Florida Race Day
Packet Pick up is race morning at race location between 8:00AM - 8:45 AM

Waves of Hope 1‑Mile Shoreline Stroll
The Shoreline Stroll is a gentle, untimed 1‑mile walk along the beach for anyone who wants to participate in a lower‑stakes, community‑centered way. Whether you’re walking, strolling, looking for shells, or simply showing up in remembrance, this mile is for you. All participants receive the official race shirt and medal
