The race starts up a few hundred meters from the parking area on State Route 244. It follows the Trail 3 loop counterclockwise and returns to finish on the Trail 2 loop and ends at the State Route 244 Phillips Creek Trailhead.

The course follows the east side of Trail 3 then heads north at Lockwood Forest Road on Trail 4 to Stewart Forest Road. Next, follow the counterclockwise loop on Trail 5, then counterclockwise on Trail 4. Finally, Trail 6 back to the finish line.
