About this race
This event celebrates women in sports, and the women often outnumber and out run the men in this race through Indian Head Acres. It has a unique twist in that the women start at 8:00 a.m., and the men start 5 minutes later.
Join fellow runners on May 9, 2026 for the Women's Distance Festival 5K. It's a fantastic 5K, WDF Volunteer featuring a flat and fast course in Tallahassee.

GIRLS ON THE RUN PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE RACE. There will be a staggered start. Community Runners start at 10 am, Girls on the Run runners will start at 10:05.
