Join the Prince Georges' Running Club (PGRC) for its historic, fun, flat 8K race on Saturday, December 5th 2026 in College Park, MD at 9 a.m.
The Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brother’s first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. This fun race starts across the historic College Park Airport, the world’s oldest continuously operated airport!

Other Details:Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (male, female, and non-binary) and top finisher in their age group.
Registration will closes on Friday, December 4, 2026, at 7:59 p.m.
Prince George's Running Club members will save $5.00 on their registration fee. If you're not a member, please consider becoming one before registering for the race.
The race premium will be guaranteed to the first 100 registrants.

Date: Saturday, December 5th, 2026 Join the Prince George's Running Club (PGRC) for a historic, fun, flat 8K race on Saturday, Dec. 5th in College Park, MD at 9 a.m. A salute to an airport in Prince George’s County, the Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brother’s first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. The historic College Park Our club hosts this race every year in the month of December. This is also the graduation race for our 8K fall training program, and one of many running programs our club offers. Location: Herbert Wells Ice Rink (5211 Campus Dr, College Park, MD 20740)
