About this race
The YMCA Harrisburg Half Marathon course starts on City Island and runs along the scenic Riverfront Park in the downtown Harrisburg community. It’s an ideal course that’s friendly for runners of all abilities — beginners enjoy the lack of elevation while more experienced runners strive for personal bests. In 20 years of existence, the YMCA Harrisburg Half has experienced tremendous growth and is quickly becoming one of the most loved running events in Central Pennsylvania.

Harrisburg Half Marathon - Runners
Harrisburg Half Marathon - Relay
Relay teams must be teams of 2. In order to discourage dropouts, the team leader who registers the team must render full payment at time of registration which will allow the teammate to join the team at no additional cost. Price is per person.
3 Bridges 5k
An exciting, unique 5k that includes the Market St Bridge, Harvey Taylor Bridge, and the Walnut St Bridge. This course follows the same route as the Half Marathon until the split at the Walnut St Bridge (city-side) where 5k participants go across the bridge and Half Marathon participants continue to the lower level Greenbelt path.
