Join fellow runners on November 22, 2018 for the Ymca Turkey Trot 5K. It's a fantastic 5K, Kids' Tiny Trot Fun Run, Virtual Run, Furry Friends featuring a flat and fast course in Colorado Springs.

5K Run/Walk (Ages 7 and Older)
Join 4,000 runners this Thanksgiving as we begin our 5K at Austin Bluffs and Briargate, heading east on Briargate for a mile and a half and then turning around to stunning views of Pikes Peak for a strong downhill finish! Our Turkey Yard will have finish line food and water, awards for the top three in each age group, costume prizes, activities for kids and goodies from our vendors!
5K Run/Walk (Ages 6 and Younger)

Kids' Tiny Trot Fun Run
The Kids Fun Run is free for kids ages 12 and under with an option to purchase a t-shirt. Parents may join their kids as they run up Briargate to Royal Pine Dr. and back down. (About .6 miles). This starts at 8:15am before the 5K.
Virtual Run
n option if you aren't in town, too busy, worried about the weather, or too sleepy to get up that early. You choose when, how, and where. Post pictures of you doing your run/walk on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/YMCARACES) and tell us how it went! OR we'll run in your honor! Either way, you get a shirt and a warm heart knowing that every penny goes back to the local community to help families in need!
Furry Friends
Furry Friends are now welcome to run with their human friends! Must be leashed, current on shots, and well behaved. Human friends must pick up after furry friends. Furry friends will receive a Turkey Trot bandana and a treat! All furry animals must run in the furry friendly waves. Don't worry, your time starts when you cross the starting line and end when you cross the finish line.
