Zonta 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run
About the Event
Grab your friends and family and join us for the Zonta 5K, 10K or One Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 13th by the 4H Building in Arena Park. The 10K will start at 7:30 am and the 1 Mile and 5K will start at 8 am. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau’s service projects that advance the status of women and girls worldwide. *The event will be chip timed!
Online registration will close Thursday, June 11 at 11:59 p.m. After this, 10K registration will be available onsite from 6:45-7:15 a.m. on race day. The 1 Mile and 5K registration will be available from 6:45 - 7:45 am on race day. Those registered by May 25 are guaranteed an awesome t-shirt!
Packet Pick Up will be Friday, June 12 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Fitness Plus; 150 South Mt. Auburn Road; Entrance #8 or on race day starting at 6:45 a.m. at Arena Park - 4H Building.
Awards will be announced around 9:00 a.m. One Mile Fun Run/Walk participants will not be timed. Awards will be given to the overall male and female as well as the top three in each age category, for the 5K and 10K.
Join fellow runners on June 13, 2026 for the Zonta 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run. It's a fantastic 1.6K, 5K, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in Cape Girardeau.

KIDS 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non competitive) Ages 0-12
This is a non competitive FUN event. It is open to all ages. It will start at the same time as the 5K. There will not be any finisher awards given for the one mile event. Register by May 25 to get the lowest price and guarantee your t-shirt size.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non competitive) Ages 13+
This is a non competitive FUN event. It is open to all ages. It will start at the same time as the 5K. There will not be any finisher awards given for the one mile event. Register by May 25 to get the lowest price and guarantee your t-shirt size.
5K
Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age category for both men and women. There will also be an award for the overall male and female winners. Register by May 25 to get the lowest price and guarantee your t-shirt size. *If you are a member of the Cape Girardeau Road Runners - this is a Grand Prix event!
10K
