This year marks the inaugural ZooRun Half Marathon—a 13.1-mile adventure unlike any other. This brand-new course includes the full 10K and 5K routes, then takes runners on an additional 7 miles through Zoo Miami's rare Pine Rocklands and the Zoo's outer perimeter, offering a one-of-a-kind race experience. The extended section features hybrid terrain, with portions of the course on paved pathways and others on natural, unpaved surfaces, adding an extra element of adventure. Be among the first to conquer this unforgettable course—but don't wait! Half Marathon registration is limited, and spots are expected to fill quickly.

Running
Half Marathon
This year marks the inaugural ZooRun Half Marathon—a 13.1-mile adventure unlike any other. 5K Run
ZooRun5K Note: The 5K is for both runners and walkers. However, it is expected that any participant in the 5K should be able to accomplish the necessary 3.1 miles in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. (23 to 25 minute pace per mile). The race starts at 7:30 a.m. ZooRun5K participants should arrive at Zoo Miami by 7:00 a.m. The 5k will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. In order to maintain the safety of our runners and integrity of the race course, ZooRun5K participants who arrive at the start line after 8:15 a.m. will not be allowed to participate in the 5k. At the completion of the race, participants will receive complimentary admission to Zoo Miami for the day by presenting their race bib.
10K Run
Kids Run
ZooKidsDash Note: ZooKidsDash participants should arrive at Zoo Miami by 8:00 a.m. The Dash will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. in the Kids Zone. In order to maintain the safety of our participants and the integrity of the race course, ZooKidsDash participants who arrive at the Kids Zone after 8:30 a.m. will not be allowed to participate in the dash. One parent of ZooKidsDash participants ages 2-3 will be permitted to run the ZooKidsDash with their child. Additional family members may watch the race from the Finish Festival area. At the completion of the race and Finish Festival celebration, ZooKidsDash participants will receive complimentary admission to Zoo Miami with their race bibs. Parents and family members may purchase 50% discounted admission tickets to join them in the Zoo. Zoo Miami annual pass holders who present their membership cards will receive complimentary admission to the Zoo after the race. ZooKidsDash Course Distance: 2 to 3 years old: 100 meters (can be accompanied by 1 parent) 4 to 5 years old: 200 meters 6 to 9 years old: 400 meters
