LAKAD FOR KALUSUGAN

LAKAD MEANS WALK AND KALUSUGAN MEANS HEALTH IN TAGALOG/FILIPINO. On September 6, 2025 we are hosting Lakad for Kalusugan to raise $50,000 for health-related projects and initiatives in the Philippines that would provide relief and rehabilitation to communities impacted by typhoons, volcano eruptions, and other natural calamities in the Philippines via the Foundation for Philippine Progress, and to support the Filipino Bayanihan Center’s Health Programs in Portland, OR. These programs are vital as migrant communities in Oregon face threats of potential federal cuts to access to health services, and the need to serve our communities grows stronger. We present an opportunity to take steps in supporting health and wellness of the Filipino people. We aim to create a pathway for these first steps to transform into a continuous movement.

REGISTRATION FEE

$35 - Early Bird Registration w/ Lakad Shirt (July 31-August 15)
$40 - Regular Registration w/ Lakad Shirt (August 16-September 1)
$40 - Late Registration, Shirt Not Guaranteed (September 2-6)

 

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

• 9am Race Begins
• 10:00am-1pm  Kick back in the park and enjoy some Filipino food, vendors, activities, and live performances.
