9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
About this race
Join Charlotte County Fire & EMS for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Charlotte Sports Park as we honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001.
Participants will climb 343 stairs in remembrance of these fallen heroes. The event is open to all fitness levels, and participants may complete the climb at their own pace. Spectators are also welcome to attend and show their support.
Gates open at 7:30 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 8 a.m. The stair climb begins at 8:30 a.m., with groups starting every 15 minutes.
Together, we climb so they are never forgotten.
