The Abbot Kinney One, presented by On & Electrolit, and produced by the Venice Run Club.
We are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual Abbot Kinney One race. This USATF-certified one-mile race will occur on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California! This race is a unique opportunity for runners of all levels to challenge themselves, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and experience the vibrant culture of Venice.
The Abbot Kinney One will be held on June 28th, 2026. The full schedule of events is as follows:
- 8:00am: Friends and Family Mile (Non competive, walk, strollers, jog)
- 8:15am: 6 yrs - 11 yrs Mile
- 8:30am: First Responders Mile
- 8:40am: 12 yrs - 14 yrs Boys & Girls (Jr. High and High School will run together)
- 8:40am: 14 yrs - 18 yrs Boys & Girls (Jr. High and High School will run together)
- 8:50am: Men's Masters Mile (40 yrs & older)
- 9:00am: Women's Masters Mile (40 yrs & older)
- 9:10am: Men's Open Mile
- 9:20am: Women's Open Mile
- 9:35am: Men's Elite Mile (Time submission or by Invitation)
- 9:40am: Women's Elite Mile (Time Submission or by Invitation)
- 9:50am: Dog Mile

All registrants will receive the following:
- Official bib number for the race
- Chip timed results
- Free race photos
- Race Medal
- More giveaways to be announced

This heat is for the families. It’s a non competitive mile for anyone who wants to get out there and enjoy the event. Whether you’re walking, jogging, or pushing a stroller, it doesn’t matter. This one’s about showing up and having fun.
Friends & Family Mile (Noncompetitive Walk, Jog, or Stroller) | Ages 17 and Under
This heat is for the families. It’s a non competitive mile for anyone who wants to get out there and enjoy the event. Whether you’re walking, jogging, or pushing a stroller, it doesn’t matter. This one’s about showing up and having fun.
Youth Mile (6 Yrs - 11 Yrs)
This heat is just for the kids. Open to ages 6 through 11, the Youth Mile is a fun, supportive way for younger runners to be part of the excitement and show off their skills on race day.
Jr. High School & High School Mile
First Responders (email proof of qualification)
This mile honors our frontline heroes. Open to first responders and military personnel, this heat celebrates your dedication and service to the community. To apply for entry, please email proof of qualification to our race director, Justin Shields, at justin@48forchange.org.
Men's Elite Mile (by invite or time submission)
To apply for entry into the elite races, email proof of qualification to our race director: Justin Shields l justin@48forchange.org Elite Men: 4:20 Elite Women: 5:00 Choosing to compete in the Elite wave, you will forgo eligibility for age group awards as only those participating in the Masters and Open waves will be eligible.
Women's Elite Mile (by invite or time submission)
