This heat is for the families. It’s a non competitive mile for anyone who wants to get out there and enjoy the event. Whether you’re walking, jogging, or pushing a stroller, it doesn’t matter. This one’s about showing up and having fun.

Youth Mile (6 Yrs - 11 Yrs)
This heat is just for the kids. Open to ages 6 through 11, the Youth Mile is a fun, supportive way for younger runners to be part of the excitement and show off their skills on race day.
Jr. High School & High School Mile
First Responders (PD, FD, EMTs, Paramedics, Military)
This mile honors our frontline heroes. Open to first responders and military personnel, this heat celebrates your dedication and service to the community. To apply for entry, please email proof of qualification to our race director, Justin Shields, at justin@48forchange.org.
