Triathlon
140.6 Full Distance
The oldest Independent Ultra Distance Triathlon in North America featuring a 2.4 mile swim; 60* mile bike; and a 26.2 mile run - 140.6 miles total! *Due to Hurricane Ian, this year's bike course has been shortnened from 112 to 60 miles.
Half Distance GFT
New for 2022 is the return of the Half Distance GFT. If you are looking for a challenge, but are not quite ready to race the full 140.6 distance, then the half distance GFT is for you! Swim 1.2 miles; bike 60 miles; and run 13.1 miles for a total distance of 73.3 miles.
Ultra Distance 2-3 Person Relay
Standard relay team competition where one athlete completes the entire swim, another athlete completes the entire bike, and another athlete completes the entire run distance. Teams can be composed of 2 or 3 athletes. PLEASE NOTE: with this relay you cannot switch athletes between laps, the athlets that starts the segment must complete the entire segment. To have the option of switching athletes for each lap, please register for the 6 Person Ultra Relay.
Half Distance 2-3 Person Relay

Sprint Triathlon
Enjoy a .25 mile swim in Lake Minneola. The 8 mile bike course travels clockwise around Lake Minneola. The run course is an out and back 5K on the South Lake Trail. This a great event for experienced and first time triathletes alike.
Duathlon
Half Distance Duathlon
The Half Distance Duathlon features a 5K run, followed by a 60 mile bike, and an 13.1 mile run.
Sprint Duathlon
Enjoy a 1 mile run followed by a clockwise 8 mile bike around Lake Minneola. The second run course is an out and back 5K on the South Lake Trail.
Aquabike
Ultra Distance Aquabike
In the Aquabike division athletes will complete the swim and bike portions of the race. The Ultra distance Aquabike features a 2.4 mile swim and 112 mile bike. This is a great training event if you are racing another late season long course triathlon.
Half Distance Aquabike
In the Aquabike division athletes will complete the swim and bike portions of the race. The Half Distance Aquabike features a 1.2 mile swim and 60 mile bike. This is a great training event if you are racing another late season long course triathlon.
Swimrun
Sprint Aquathlon
A new adddition to the Sprint Event, the Sprint Aquathlon is a swim-run event that features a .25 mile swim followed by a 5K run.

1.2 Mile Open Water Swim
A 1.2 mile open water swim with swimmers swimming 1 lap of the 1.2 mile GFT swim course.
2.4 Mile Open Water Swim
A 2.4 mile open water swim with swimmers swimming 2 laps of the 1.2 mile GFT swim course.
Running
Floridian Sunset Half Marathon
A Half Marathon out and back Run/Walk on the South Lake Trail.
