Bayshore Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, & Kids Fun Run
About this race
Celebrating its 44th Anniversary, the Bayshore Marathon has become a “must run” for runners throughout the Midwest and beyond. Many runners return year after year to enjoy the scenic courses which run along the shores of beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. Hosted by Traverse City Track Club, Bayshore features a 10K, half marathon a full marathon, and a kids 1.2 mile fun run. The number of runners in all three races is limited to ensure a more enjoyable experience.
Traverse City Track Club uses proceeds from Bayshore to sponsor many running and health related activities in and around Northwest Michigan.
Join fellow runners on May 23, 2024 for the Bayshore Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, & Kids Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 1.9K featuring a flat and fast course in Traverse City.

Shakeout Run with Des Linden
Traverse City Track Club will be hosting its second Bayshore Shakeout Run on Friday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center (meet on the south side of the Civic Center Park). Run with world-class marathoner, Des Linden! Come for the shakeout run and stay for packet pickup at the Civic Center, which opens at 11:00 a.m.! Participation is free, but registration is required. Bagels and coffee will be available after the run…until we run out!
