About this race
Join Urban Native Education Alliance for our Billy Mills Run/Walk for Life, an annual suicide awareness and wellness community-wide event. We will also have a back-to-school drive! (Grab your supplies while they are still available!)
Meet Olympic Gold Medalist Billy Mills (Oglala). Prizes for all age groups, photos, autographs, and T-shirts. Family-friendly event. Resource tabling, snacks, limited edition posters, and giveaway items. We will have a lot of fun activities and entertainment throughout the day.
This year, we have added a boxing and lacrosse showcase for youth and the community to participate in!

DJ Big Rez, MC & live entertainment included!!
Free ice cream, popcorn, and other fun treats
The race is free for all participants
T-SHIRTS:
Youth (Under 18) - T-shirts are free and included with the event
Adults (Over 18) - T-shirts are available for a $15 suggested donation

This is a SUICIDE PREVENTION and AWARENESS EVENT. We hope to raise awareness about suicide warning signs, prevention, and resources for support.
Native Warrior Athletics: Offers year-round FREE athletic programming for Native youth. We currently offer our basketball program and Native Warriors Boxing program. Any donations towards our annual Billy Mills Run/Walk for Life will support our Native youth and passion for athletics.
Urban Native Education Alliance (UNEA) was founded in 2008. We are a volunteer-based, grassroots, youth-centered, community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting Indigenous youth through cultural programming, mentorship, and community engagement. We offer free, year-round programming for all Indigenous youth participants.
