About this race
Join us for the 4th Annual Blackberry Festival 5K at the Carlisle Blackberry Festival!
The 2026 Blackberry Festival 5K is Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:00am in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The race will include an in-person 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town race and virtual option. Our 2025 race will support Nicholas County Carlisle Tourism.

FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACES This event is open to all kids 12 and under and is a FREE EVENT. Parents may add on a commemorative shirt for $10. We will have run offs by age (2-12) and then have a final Fastest Kid in Town race with all of the age category winners. Kids will receive a participation medal.
5K AWARDS We will provide awards for the Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers as well as Top 2 M/F in each age group 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
5K ROUTE MAP
PACKET PICKUP: Our packet pickup will be on race morning (Saturday, July 4th) from 6:30-7:45am in downtown Carlisle.

Running
5K Run/Walk
A chip timed 5K run/walk on paved road surfaces. Awards presented for the Top 3 M/F overall finishers and Top finishers M/F in each age group. Participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last.
Virtual Runner/Walker
If you can't join us in person consider participating as a virtual runner/walker. For your $25 donation we'll make sure you get one of our commemorative race T-shirts and you can run/walk your own 5K on your own schedule from anywhere.
