Boogie Nights Summer Run Series - Ventura
About this race
Welcome to the 16th edition of the Boogie Nights Summer Run Series presented by the Ventura Running Club. This is a fun Wednesday Night Run Series taking place from May 20th - July 22nd at the Ventura Promenade starting in front of Aloha Steakhouse and The Crowne Plaza.
The Event will be chip-timed!
We highly recommend you register in advance which will speed up the check-in process. You can sign up on-site each week for $17 (plus a processing fee that goes to the registration company)
All Series 5K participants will get a free Boogie Nights Event Shirt and will have the option during registration to add on a meal/ drink. Individual Night Sign-ups can pre-purchase a shirt or meal/drink.
A great way to get in shape and have fun while raising money for the local High School Cross Country Teams. Over the past 11 years we have raised over $50,000 for the program. Last year we raised close to $10,000.

The Ventura Promenade starting in front of Aloha Steakhouse and The Crowne Plaza.

Parking - PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the lot next to Aloha Steakhouse. That parking lot has had damage and has very limited parking and we want to leave that available for customers of Aloha Steakhouse, Crown Plaza, and Beach House Fish. We would recommend parking in the free City lot on Santa Clara St between California St and Chestnut and then walking down California St to the race.

A Fun way to spend a Wednesday Evening while raising money for Buena Cross Country. We are excited to get back to our summer run series and hope you join us in 2026.
Awards
We do not have individual night awards but do have series awards for the top 3 in each group based on overall series points.

Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 3 Race Theme - Rock Star Night/ Favorite Concert Shirt Night - Bring out your vintage or new concert shirt, and crazy hair and run with us.
June 10th - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 4 Race Theme - Pirate Night - Grab your favorite Pirate Garb, Eye Patch, Stripes, Sward, and more.
June 17th - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 5 Race Theme - Pajama Night - Just too much fun to wear a onesie, no excuses needed to go out in public in your jammies.
June 24th - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 6 Race Theme - Superheroes vs Villains - dress up like your favorite Superhero or Villain and share your fun pictures with us.
July 1st - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 7 Race Theme - 4th of July - Break out all that Red, White and Blue gear for a fun evening run before the fireworks.
July 8th - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 8 Race Theme - Crazy Sock Night - bust out those fun socks.
July 15th - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 9 Race Theme - Sports Night - Break out your Sports attire/ favorite team shirt and more.
July 22nd - 5K
Single week Shirt and meal/drink can be purchased separately Week 10 Race Theme - Tie Dye Night - Anything and Everything Tie Dye
