About this race
Make room for your Thanksgiving dinner and join us for the Bret Harte Athletics & Booster Club's 2026 Run Turkey Run 5K/10K on Thursday, November 26, 2026! This fun, family-friendly event starts and ends at Leland High School in scenic Almaden Valley, San Jose. Both the 5K and 10K courses are run on level terrain down Camden Avenue and on the paved trails along the Los Alamitos Creek and the open space area. Parking:
Available at Leland High School and along Via Valiente. Pease plan your route to Leland to avoid the Camden Ave. road closure. Use the Via Valiente entrance to the Leland parking lot as all Camden Ave. entrances will be closed due to the road closure. Please visit FAQs above for more info on parking directions.
