CASA Color Run
About this race
CASA is hosting its 5th annual Color Run event on June 6, 2026! Bring your family and friends to this fun, family-friendly event at Sycamore Middle School (no pets, please). Walk, jog or sprint - anything is fine so long as you have fun! There will be a post-race celebration with music, snacks and water. All proceeds from the event support CASA DeKalb County's advocacy of children from DeKalb County who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Registration fee is $30 for ages 13+ and includes a t-shirt and color packet and $20 for ages 5-12 and includes a t-shirt and color packet. Children 4 and under are free but should still be registered. An add-on t-shirt can be purchased (size youth small) for children 4 and under for $10 each. T-shirts are guaranteed through May 25.
Register online through June 6 at 7:45 am. In-person race-day registration opens at 7:00 am and closes at 7:45 am.
Packet pickup is at 308 W State St, Sycamore, IL 60178 on June 5 from 3-6 pm. Please use the State Street entrance. Packet pickup also available on June 6 from 7:00-7:45 am at Sycamore Middle School.

5K Color Run
This is a family-friendly, Color Run event. The start and finish line will be at Sycamore Middle School. There will be awards for 1st place overall male and female finishers, though the race is intended to be a fun run rather than a competitive race. The 5K will be clearly marked with race volunteers to help, with a water station and 4 COLOR stations throughout the route. No pets, please. This event raises money for CASA DeKalb County; registrations are non-refundable. If the race is canceled due to unforeseeable circumstances, such as inclement weather, it will not be rescheduled. Race-day registration will be available starting at 7:30 AM. Packet pickup is June 2 from 3-6 pm at 308 W. State St. in Sycamore (please use Somonauk St. entrance) or on June 3 from 7:30-8:15 am at Sycamore Middle School. Please arrive on June 3 by 8:15 am as the Color Run blowhorn will sound at 8:30 am!
