Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's "27th Annual Turkey Trot" presented by Southern Oxygen & Welding Supply and hosted by Florida SouthWestern State College!
Come join Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly 5K event is located on the scenic campus of FSW College, Punta Gorda Campus. This event has been a beloved tradition for friends, family and fitness enthusiasts for over 27 years - and the only race where you can chase a Bicycle Riding Turkey! Join us as we wobble before we gobble!
Proceeds and donations for this event go to help bring affordable housing solutions and the dream of homeownership to families in Charlotte County. We couldn't do it without you!!

Important Information:
Youth Registration: Ages 3 & Under - Free (If race shirt & medal are wanted, please sign up under Fun Walk and pay the youth fee of $25)
Ages 4-14 years - Only $25 (Price will be adjusted at checkout)
All participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt (if registered by the deadline) Race Shirt Deadline is Sunday, October 19th, 2025
Age Group Awards are awarded to the top three male and female participants in each age group below:

Male / Female 40-44 years Male / Female 80 & Over
Overall Awards will be awarded to top male and female in the following divisions:

Please note that FSW College has a no pet, no smoking policy. We appreciate your cooperation in following their guidelines.
**RACE REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE**
Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group

Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity presents the "22nd Annual Turkey Trot". This family friendly event has become a Thanksgiving tradition for many before feasting on the big meal! Register by November 22nd and receive a free event t-shirt and finisher medal. All packages will be mailed after the event. Registration fee is $40. A "no frills" $25 registration fee is also available (no shirt or medal). You may also fundraise $250 and/or sign up 10 people and your fee will be credited back to you (minus transaction fee). All proceeds benefit families in need of safe, decent, affordable homes through Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity. Registrations are non-refundable. Sign up for the Charity 5K Run / Walk and 100% of your registration fee is donated to Charlotte County Habitat. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE A FINISHER MEDAL OR T SHIRT. You will be able to download a finisher certificate. Registration fee is $25.
