Crofton's Dam Race - Individual Triathlon
KAYAK. RUN. BIKE. Competitors kayak 1.5 miles on the lake from the Weigand swim beach, run a 5K through the Weigand campground on paved trails and bike 12 miles west on Hwy 54C and back to the State Rec Area to finish line. This bike route is an alternate route for 2021 due to road construction on Hwy 121. Awards and BBQ celebration will still be in Downtown Crofton. Participants must be 14 years or older. Don't forget to bring a bike helmet and life jacket. Bring your own kayak, or borrow one of our kayaks (checkbox available in registration).
Crofton's Dam Race - Youth Team Triathlon
Youth teams (ages 14-19) of 2 or 3 (each taking a different leg of the race) kayak 1.5 miles on the lake from the Weigand swim beach, run a 5K through the Weigand campground on paved trails and bike bike 12 miles west on Hwy 54C and back to the State Rec Area to finish line. This bike route is an alternate route for 2021 due to road construction on Hwy 121. Awards and BBQ celebration will still be in Downtown Crofton. Participants must be 14 years or older. Don't forget to bring a bike helmet and life jacket. Bring your own kayak, or borrow one of our kayaks (checkbox available in registration). TEAM CAPTAINS: Register your team and pay full team registration fee. From there, you can either A) Send the registration link to other team members to register on their own. B) Register for your team members by clicking "Add New Registrant."
Running
Crofton's Dam Half Marathon
13.1 miles to the best finish line party in Nebraska. DAM right! Due to road construction on Hwy 121, there will be an alternate route for the Half Marathon in 2021. Runners will leave the State Rec Area and run west on Hwy 54C to Miller Creek Rec and back to the Lewis & Clark Rec area for finish.
Cycling
Crofton's Dam Bike Race
It's less of a race, and more like a 12-mile scenic ride. Due to road construction on Hwy 121, there will be an alternate route for the Bike Race in 2021. Bikers will leave the State Rec Area and bike west on Hwy 54C to Miller Creek Rec and back to the Lewis & Clark Rec area for finish.
