About this race
RUN. BIKE. KAYAK Join us for a new kind of race along the shores of Lewis & Clark Lake in Northeast Nebraska. Choose your adventure between three events: a sprint triathlon with kayaking instead of swimming, a half marathon or 12-mile bike race. Participants must be 14 years or older. Racers get a free t-shirt, meal and beverage at the Finish Line Party. Extra t-shirts and meals can be ordered here.
START - Weigand Beach at Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area
FINISH - Main Street, Crofton, Nebraska
FINISH LINE CELEBRATION - Crofton Haymarket, Main Street, Crofton
TEAM CAPTAINS: Register your team and pay full team registration fee. From there, you can either
A) Send the registration link to other team members to register on their own.
B) Register for your team members by clicking "Add New Registrant"
PRIZES: The overall individual winner will receive a plaque. The individual winners of each age group and the fastest team will receive medals. Half Marathon finishers receive a medal. Everyone gets a high five!
LODGING: Stay in Crofton at the Lewis and Clark Lodge or the Historic Argo Hotel. Camping is also available at the Weigand Campgrounds. Make arrangements early as limited rooms are available.

Crofton's Dam Race - Individual Triathlon
KAYAK. RUN. BIKE. Competitors kayak 1.5 miles on the lake from the Weigand swim beach, run a 5K through the Weigand campground on paved trails and bike 12 miles east on Hwy 54C and south one Hwy 121 to Main Street, Crofton. Awards and BBQ celebration will be in Downtown Crofton. Participants must be 14 years or older. Don't forget to bring a bike helmet and life jacket. Bring your own kayak, or borrow one of our kayaks (checkbox available in registration).
Crofton's Dam Race - Youth Team Triathlon
Youth teams (ages 14-19) of 2 or 3 (each taking a different leg of the race) kayak 1.5 miles on the lake from the Weigand swim beach, run a 5K through the Weigand campground on paved trails and bike 12 miles east on Hwy 54C and south one Hwy 121 to Main Street, Crofton. Awards and BBQ celebration will still be in Downtown Crofton. Participants must be 14 years or older. Don't forget to bring a bike helmet and life jacket. Crofton's Dam Race - E-Bike Individual Triathlon
KAYAK. RUN. E-BIKE. New this year! We've added an e-bike option! Competitors kayak 1.5 miles on the lake from the Weigand swim beach, run a 5K through the Weigand campground on paved trails and bike 12 miles east on Hwy 54C and south one Hwy 121 to Main Street, Crofton. Participants must be 14 years or older. Don't forget to bring a bike helmet and life jacket. Bring your own kayak, or borrow one of our kayaks (checkbox available in registration). E-bike racers are not eligible for prizes. Note: Level 1 and 2 e-bikes only.
Running
Crofton's Dam Half Marathon
13.1 miles to the best finish line party in Nebraska. DAM right! Runners run a route through the Lewis & Clark State Rec Area, run east on Hwy 54C and south on Hwy 121 to finish on Main Street, Crofton. Finishers receive a medal!
Cycling
Crofton's Dam Bike Race
It's less of a race, and more like a 12-mile scenic ride. Bikers will leave the State Rec Area and bike east on Hwy 54C and south on Hwy 121 to finish on Main Street, Crofton.
