Speaker: Amanda Porter, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP Linder Center of HOPE, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Outpatient Services, Integrative Mental Health Practitioner. About the Seminar: The most widely accepted etiology of mental illness is the neurotransmitter theory. However, with only about 50% of patients responding to traditional psychiatric medications, an integrative approach to mental health treatment is increasingly becoming more desirable and effective. Learn about the other etiologies of mental health illnesses, as well as complementary and alternative treatment options.
