About this race
Join us for a morning of races, a farmer’s market, music and so much fun! This is not your ordinary race. Racehorses have been giving their all on the Cumberland Fairground track for 155 years. Imagine the finish you’ll have tapping into their spirited, courageous and determined energy! We are getting creative with details to bring the maximum joy and impact to this event run entirely by volunteers and supporting some incredible local nonprofits!

Race Categories: Elite Mile, Adult mile (18+), Youth mile (5-17), Kids 200 Meter Gallop (for little ones), Open 5k & Virtual participation
Join fellow runners on August 31, 2025 for the Fairgrounds 5k, Mile & Market. It's a fantastic 1.6K, 0.8K, 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Cumberland Center.
