Get ready to bring on your best patriotic reflection of Independence Day for the Annual Fallen Heroes 5 Miler Race. Bring your flags, your favorite red, white and blue shorts, tutu’s, socks, hats or anything that shows you are ready to show your patriotism. This event is associated with the FARC (Fredericksburg Area Running Club) through their Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. Come out and run through the downtown areas of the City of Fredericksburg. This race is hosted by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes: a local non-profit that provides support to the Veterans and First Responders in need of assistance in our local community. The race will begin James Monroe High School in the parking lot. RACE STARTS AT 7:30 a.m. PROMPTLY Race Day Registration: July 4th: 6:30 a.m.–7:00 a.m. . Please allow enough time to complete your registration process. Packet pickup: Friday, July 3rd at Lucky Road Run Shop Address: 1865 Carl D Silver Pkwy Unit #110 Fredericksburg, VA 22401 Time: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. It is highly recommended for packets to be picked up on this day. Overall winners will be presented awards in both, men and women division.1st, 2nd and 3rd. Overall top Male and top Female: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Age Groups - 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over Entry Fees: February 17th –April 8th: $35.00 April 9th- June 8th: $40.00 June 9th- July 2nd: $45.00 July 3rd- July 4th: $50.00 You must register by June 8th to receive a shirt. We cannot guarantee a shirt after the 8th of June. Extra shirts will be available for purchase starting on June 8th with a limited supply. Cost: $20.00 Specialty awards for best Female and Male: $50.00 gift card to each winner.
