Frozen Sasquatch Trail 50k/25k
About the Event
Welcome to the 16th running of the Frozen Sasquatch trail race. The race consist of two distances, 25k and 50k, both starting at 8:00am. The course is a 15.8 mile loop (50k runners do two loops) and will take place on some of the best trails in Kanawha State Forest. Come start the year right with your first trail race of the year. Keep your eye out for sasquatch lurking in the woods.
Ready to test your limits? The Frozen Sasquatch Trail 50k/25k brings a highly anticipated Ultra, 25K to Charleston on January 9, 2027. Expect a fantastic route right in the heart of West Virginia.

Trail running
50K
The 50k course consist of two loops. Drop bags can be left at the halfway aid station (or in your vehicle). The time limit to complete the course is 9 hours. There are aid station cutoffs also. 60% single track trails, 30% Dirt Road, 10% Pavement.
25K
The 25k course is one big loop, There are 3 climbs in the course. 60% single track trails, 30% Dirt Road, 10% Pavement.
