Traditional Rider - Gears and Steers Ride for Hospice

We will be back in Summerfield again in 2019 at Summerfield Cyclery! We will have three route options of 25, 35 and 54-miles. All distances will roll-out together at 10:00AM and the post-ride party will begin at 12:00PM. 100% of your registration fee goes directly to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro!  Event details and schedule Web site: www.rideforhospicenc.com  Contact email: triforhospice@gmail.com Date: Sunday, May 5, 2019 (The ride is rain or shine-no refunds & the organizers reserve the right to alter the routes or cancel the ride if dangerous weather conditions arise.) Start time: All routes begin at 10:00 AM Location: The Summerfield Bicycle Store, 1015 NC Highway 150 W, Summerfield, NC 27358 Registration Fee: $35.00 prior to 4/29 (online registration will close at 11:59 PM on 4/28) & $45.00 there after (100% of the registration fee goes to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro). Day-of registration will run from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the ride site. Shirts are not guaranteed for anyone registering after 4/26/2019 and will only be available on a first come, first served basis. Route Options: 25-miles, 35-miles and 54-miles Age Minimum: Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Event Site Rules: The Gears and Steers Ride for Hospice rules: • This event is a supported ride, not a race • Obey all traffic laws, stop signs, etc. • All cyclists must wear a helmet • All riders must sign a liability waiver on site • Be courteous to drivers (we are guests in the community) • Ride to the right and in single file as much as possible • No ID, No beer • No headphones while you ride • HAVE FUN and please, no behavior you wouldn't want your mom to see or hear      Ride Schedule: The Summerfield Bicycle Store,1015 NC Highway 150 W, Summerfield, NC 27358 Sunday, May 5, 2019 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM day-of registration & rider bib # pick-up 10:00 AM all routes start 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM post-ride celebration

Can't join us for the event - no worries! Complete your ride on your own course, trainer, spin bike or on the Gears & Steers course. Snap some photos of your ride and post on our Facebook page. Email us your GPS or other ride data and we will mail you an event t-shirt (must register before the shirt deadline of 4/26, select to cover the shipping cost, and complete your ride by May 12th.)
