Germanfest 5K
This as a fun evening race for the whole family. The race starts in Lawton Park downtown Fort Wayne and ends at the Old Fort. Approximately 75% of the course is on the greenway with a section on the return being on road that will be closed for the race. We .will have a water station at the half way point for your refreshment. What you get with the 5K event registration: - awesome race - soft unisex T-shirt first 150 registered - commemorative pint glass (to the fist 197 registrations) After completing the race you will be able to walk from the Old Fort across the foot bridge to the Germanfest festival. All race awards will be be presented on stage at the Germanfest festival. Each race bib grants one free entrance to the festival.
Kids Fun Run
A fun little run around Lawton park. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Event is not timed. Kids receive a ribbon at the finish.
