Global Running Day Bermuda
About this race
The first Wednesday in June is Global Running Day and this year we invite you to celebrate physical fitness, mental wellness and connectiveness with our community.
Grab your family & friends, choose from the 4K {2.48 miles} or 2K {1.24 miles} distances and lace up your shoes. Both distances start on Harbour Rd. and finish at the FlagPole on Front St. during Harbour Night's festivities.
Event Start Time
7 pm {both the 4K and 2K distances will start at the same time}
Courses
- 4K / 2.48 Miles - Start on Harbour Rd. just before {east of} Manse Rd., head east to Crow Lane, continue west on East Broadway and to the finish line at the FlagPole on Front St.
- 2K / 1.24 Miles - Start on Harbour Rd. at Red Hole., head east to Crow Lane, continue west on East Broadway and to the finish line at the FlagPole on Front St.
Bib Number Collection
Bib Number collection will be available starting at 5:30 pm in the Number 5 FlagPole on Front St.
Bag Drop
An area will be available for you to leave your bag while you run/walk.
Bags must be removed by 8:30 pm
Parking
There will be no parking available to the public on Harbour Rd. as you risk being ticketed, or more importantly, cause a traffic nuisance.
With the event finishing on Front St. you are strongly encouraged to leave your transportation in Hamilton and use the shuttle services detailed below.
Do not leave your car or bikes on any roads, private property or at any businesses in the Harbour Rd area.
Transportation to the Start Line
A van service will depart Front St. beginning at 6 pm until 6:30 pm and take participants to the start area
Please do not wait until the last minute to take the shuttle to the start
