About this race
The Human Race is a community fundraising event for non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire Area. The Human Race will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun walk.
Each runner or walker will choose one of the nonprofits to benefit by receiving 75% of the registration fee.
No registration fees will be refunded.
Join fellow runners on February 3, 2023 for the Health Connect's Human Race. It's a fantastic 5.1K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Sioux Falls.

Faith Through Frames provides free portrait photography for those who can not afford a photography. Each party is gifted a free portrait session along with a free framed portrait of their choice
The Foster Network - 5K Run
The Foster Network is a local non profit that supports children affected by the foster care system and their foster families. The Foster Network provides children a safe place to receive basic necessities needed when first entering the foster care system. The Foster Network hosts events, training, and educational opportunities to help provide support to those caring for the children affected by the foster care system.
National Kidney Foundation - 5K Run
The NKF a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, national voluntary health agency.. All programs and services are made possible through the contributions of a generous public. With 1 in 7 Americans having kidney disease and 1 in three who are at risk the NKF works to build awareness in our communities. We also work to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation through our community and professional programming we offer.
PROJECT CAR - 5K Run
Project CAR is a nonprofit transportation ministry that partners with churches, healthcare organizations, and social service groups to provide rides to some of Sioux Falls’ most vulnerable people, at little or no cost to the rider. With 42+ years of experience and a dedicated team of volunteers, we provide over 10,000 rides each year.

Union Gospel Mission Sioux Falls - 5K Run
For over 123 years, Union Gospel Mission Sioux Falls has served the downtown community offering 24/7 year-round programs and services to men, women and children homeless and low-income individuals. Services include food, shelter & other housing assistance, clothing, medical assistance, counseling, educational and life skill opportunities, art therapy, case management, chapel services and clothing assistance program. In addition, resident recovery, abuse support programs and community health resources are also available to both guests and community members. UGM is the 2nd oldest Gospel Mission in the country and continues being a well-known staple for change. Our vision is to collaborate with nonprofits and organizations in our area to help reduce the number of homeless individuals living on the streets. We continue building relationships through community outreach events - providing FREE food, live entertainment, resources, thrift store education, block parties, art shows, bike safety training, nutritional programs, STI and other health clinics, chiropractor sessions, FREE haircuts and over 13,500 food boxes. Together, we continue "Caring for the needs of the community with compassion while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ."
