2025 - HerrinFesta Road Races

10k

The course for this race has you starting and finishing on Herrin’s Park Avenue. This is a flat and fast course and only has four right turns on it. The race starts in front of Banterra Bank on South Park Ave. As you head North on Park Ave. the course drops about 30 feet over the 1.75 miles to the first turn on East Diaz St. A couple hundred yards later you will make your next turn onto 13th street. This is a 2.75 mile straight away that takes you to your next right turn onto East Railroad St. that you will be on for just a minute as you take the last right turn onto Park Avenue at approximately 4.8 miles. The straight away to the finish is mostly a gradual downhill with a slight bump as you go over the tracks with a 1/3 of a mile to go finishing at City Hall.

Park Avenue Mile

An all out mile. Run as fast as you can from South Side Lumber to the finish line at city hall. This race will start immediately after the Doughboy Ceremony finishes.

Youth Fun Run

The kids race will start 3 minutes after the Park Avenue Mile and ill run the same course.

10k & Park Avenue Mile

5k Walk

The 5k walk starts near the finish line at Herrin City Hall. Participants will walk about two blocks the join the 10 k route to the finish.
