Registered participants will receive a 35th annual Spectrum Health Irish Jig short-sleeve technical shirt and green beverage glass at event check-in. Awards are presented to first through fifth place in 12 and younger age groups, and first to third place in 13 and older age groups. Cash prizes for Overall, Masters and Grand Masters as well as for course records. Participants younger than 18 and those in college are ineligible for cash prizes. All awards will be available for pick-up following the Irish Jig Awards Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 in the East Grand Rapids High School gym.
Cancer Survivor 5K
Registered participants will receive a 35th annual Spectrum Health Irish Jig short-sleeve technical shirt and green beverage glass at event check-in. In addition, those who select to participate as a cancer survivor in the Irish Jig will be assigned a "Cancer Survivor" bib to wear during their event to commemorate their journey back to health. Awards are presented to first through fifth place in 12 and younger age groups, and first to third place in 13 and older age groups. Cash prizes for Overall, Masters and Grand Masters as well as for course records. Participants younger than 18 and those in college are ineligible for cash prizes. 2018 Gazelle Sports Triple Crown race series - (3 Event Deal)
Athletes who register for the 2018 Gazelle Sports Triple Crown race series -- Spectrum Health Irish Jig, Brian Diemer Family of Races (6/9/18) and the Reeds Lake Run sponsored by Huntington and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (6/23/18) -- will receive a Triple Crown stainless steel beverage cup and $20 Gazelle Sports gift certificate after the last event in the series. They will also receive a 35th annual Spectrum Health Irish Jig short-sleeve technical shirt and green beverage glass at event check-in for the Irish Jig as well as the registration incentives associated with the two other events in the Gazelle Sports Triple Crown.
