Registered participants will receive a 36th annual Spectrum Health Irish Jig long sleeve, gender-specific, technical shirt at event check-in. Awards are presented to first through fifth place in 12 and younger age groups, and first to third place in 13 and older age groups. Medals will be presented to the top three teams in each Team Competition division. Cash prizes for Overall, Masters and Grand Masters as well as for course records. Participants younger than 18 and those in college are ineligible for cash prizes. All awards will be available for pick-up following the Irish Jig awards ceremony at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 in the East Grand Rapids High School gym.
Cancer Survivor 5K
Registered participants will receive a 36th annual Spectrum Health Irish Jig long sleeve, gender-specific, technical shirt at event check-in. In addition, those who select to participate as a cancer survivor in the Irish Jig will be assigned a "Cancer Survivor" bib to wear during their event to commemorate their journey back to health. Awards are presented to first through fifth place in 12 and younger age groups, and first to third place in 13 and older age groups. Medals will be presented to the top three teams in each Team Competition division. Cash prizes for Overall, Masters and Grand Masters as well as for course records. Participants younger than 18 and those in college are ineligible for cash prizes. Three Event Deal (formerly Triple Crown)
Athletes who choose to run local in 2019 can save $15 when registering with the Three Event Deal -- Spectrum Health Irish Jig, Brian Diemer Family of Races (6/8/19) and the Reeds Lake Run sponsored by Huntington and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (6/22/19). They will also receive a Spectrum Health Irish Jig long sleeve, gender-specific, technical shirt at Irish Jig check-in as well as the registration incentives associated with the two other events in the Three Event Deal. Three Event Deal athletes can also participate on an Irish Jig team by selecting to be part of a specific team once it has been created online by the team captain. Medals will be presented to the top three teams in each Team Competition division. However, to participate in the Brian Diemer Family of Races and Reeds Lake Run team competitions, individuals must create teams on each event's website.
