IronHorse Full Marathon (Half in MN and Half in IA) IA21004MF
Marathon (Point-to-Point Route) on railroad level grade (3/5 asphalt, 1/5 concrete, 1/5 gravel) and through winding woods Full Marathon Registrants who finish will receive a finishers award and the top three placers in each gender will be awarded placing medals. The overall top finisher takes home the Full Marathon IronHorse Trophy. Arrival to race start by private vehicle is allowed, otherwise, shuttle must be reserved at time of registration. USATF Certified and Sanctioned. Boston Qualifying. Half of the Marathon is in Minnesota. Half of the Marathon is in Iowa. Race window is six hours (6:30 A.M. - 12:30 A.M.). 5K (Out-and-back Route) on railroad level grade through tree sheltered shoulders. The top three placers in each gender will be awarded placing medals. USATF Certified and Sanctioned. This 5K takes places in two counties: Mitchell County and Howard County. If you are running 5Ks in all 99 Iowa counties, this is a two-for-one!
