Jamaica Day Dash

Brought to you by the Jamaica Community Arts Council and the Jamaica Run Club!

Get a running start on the annual Jamaica Day celebration by joining our first Jamaica Day Dash! With a 5K and Kids Fun Run (0.5 miles) option, everybody in the family can participate. Both out-and-back races will start at the Day Use area in Jamaica State Park and  take runners along the scenic West River Trail. 

Kids Fun Run
Our free ½ mile Kids Fun Run is FREE and open to children ages 12 and under. This out-and-back course is designed for young runners of all abilities. Every participant will receive a ribbon, medal, or small prize for joining the fun!

5K Race
The Jamaica Day Dash 5K is a timed out-and-back course through Jamaica State Park. Awards will be given to the overall top male, female, and non-binary finishers.

Registration

Register early to guarantee your spot! The registration cost includes free entry to park for runners. Spectators will need to purchase a pass to enter.

The Jamaica Day Dash is sponsored by the Jamaica Community Arts Council and Jamaica Run Club. Proceeds benefit the Jamaica Historical Foundation and help support the continuation of Jamaica Day celebrations.
