About the Event

Ken'ya Run? Yes, You Ken'ya! Kiwimbi 10K, 5K Runs & 45-Minute Walk! Creating opportunity through education. Bring your family and friends and join us for a beautiful day in a picturesque park! The beautiful course has tons of shade, making it a great place to set PB's!

COURSE IS PAVED, FLAT AND FAST!

Place: Duke Island Park, 191 Old York Rd, Bridgewater, NJ

Registration: 8:00 am 10K race: 9:00 am 5K race: 9:00 am Walkers go out immediately after the races begin. Why walk 45 minutes? That's the average amount of time a child in rural Kenya walks one way to school each day!

Prizes to Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers

Awards to Top M/F 1st Place Finishers in the following Age Groups:

15 & Under · 16-19 · 20s · 30s · 40s· 50s · 60s · 70s · 80s · 90+

What to Expect:

Tons of food featuring Kenyan treats
Plenty of water
Kenyan Pop Music playing all morning long to get you pumped up for the challenge
Water stations along the course, where runners can recharge
10k and 5k USATF sanctioned and timed races - part of the Grand Prix
45 Minute (5k) Fun Walk
Register by April 1 for a guaranteed a t-shirt.

The medal ceremony will take place as soon as results are tabulated.
