About this race
For more than three decades, the Klompen Classic 5K has brought the heart of small-town Iowa to life. This beloved Pella tradition draws runners and walkers together to race for a cause. Every dollar raised supports Crossroads of Pella and our mission to strengthen local children and families. With scenic streets, smiling faces, and a whole lot of heart, the Klompen Classic is more than a run — it’s a celebration!

6:00 FREE Kids Classic Fun Run (NO REGISTRATION NECESSARY but a waiver must be signed at start of race) Gather at Vemeer Windmill (corner of East 1st St & Franklin St) by 5:45pm and run west on Franklin through the big red arch. Children 1-10 invited. Age groups called before they run. Kids' T-shirt and Hoodie order form may be found at www.crossroadspella.org 7:00 5K Begins *T-SHIRT GUARANTEE DATE: Friday, April 20 *Early packet pick up will be Monday, April 30 from 4:30-6:30pm in the Pella Community Center-3rd Floor *Race day packet pick up will be from 4:30-6:45pm on the NW corner of Pella's town square
