LARC in the Park 5K Run/Walk

Lace up for Rockland's libraries! Join us for the 2nd Annual LARC in the Park 5K Run/Walk at Rockland Lake State Park on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Library Association of Rockland County (LARC) Scholarship Fund and professional development for members. LARC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting and promoting Rockland’s public libraries. Pricing:

• Online 5K entry (ages 17 and older) - $32.80 (before 9/30/2026, thereafter $43.40)
• Online 5K entry (ages 16 and younger) - $22.20 
• Kids' Dewey Decimal Dash (up to age 10) - FREE
• First 100 5K participants to register will receive an insulated cooler bag
• Prices include race entry and processing fees
• Registration is via online entry only. Registration closes at 9:45am 10/18/2026
   

Schedule:

• Race day registration opens at 9:00am
• Kids' Dewey Decimal Dash begins at 9:30am
• 5K Run/Walk begins at 10:00am

Entering Rockland Lake State Park:

• Use the North Entrance
• Proceed to parking lot #1
• Rockland Land State Park charges an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle after 8:00am

Our awards ceremony will take place shortly following the 5K
