Welcome to the ultimate test of endurance, grit, and mental toughness — the Last Stand Backyard Ultra, where only one will remain standing. Set against the rugged beauty of Loch Lothian in Midlothian, Virginia, this is no ordinary race. Every hour, on the hour, runners must toe the line and complete a 4.167-mile loop. Miss the start? You're out. Can’t finish within the hour? You're out. The race continues until only ONE runner remains — the true Last Stand champion. No time clocks. Just the will to go one more loop. Whether you’re in it for glory or to push your personal limits, the Last Stand is a battle of heart and head. It’s a race where strategy meets insanity, and every loop tells a new story of resilience. Will you answer the call? Will you outlast them all? This isn’t just a race — it’s your Last Stand.

Run one lap, two laps, or more, the race is yours to run however you would like and any distance you want! Maybe even run a loop or two as a a pacer for one of the ultra-runners. And who knows - you just might catch the Ultra Bug!
