Trail Run - Youth
All youth events are for those aged 16 and under. The Marquette Trails Festival Youth Trail Run gives young racers a chance to experience the challenge of a competitive trail run in an age-appropriate distance. Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events). 5K Trail Run
The Marquette Trails Festival 5k Trail Run is one of our premiere events. South Trails offers up beautiful and heart-pumping singletrack to enjoy. Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events). Twin Peaks Trail Run - 1/2 Marathon
The Marquette Trails Festival fan favorite is back with the challenging and fun Twin Peaks Trail Run. The course is around 13 miles and will top out on both Marquette Mountain (ski hill) and Mount Marquette. See marquettetrailsfestival.com for official maps. Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events). Mountain biking
Cross Country Bike - Youth
The MQT Trails Festival Cross Country Mountain Bike race takes place on trails that have been rated among the best in the nation for mountain biking. The Youth race gives riders 16 and under a chance to taste a smaller portion of these trails. The race will be held on beginner or very mild intermediate trails appropriate for most young riders with decent bike skills. Racers will get about 1.5 miles of singletrack. NOTES: E BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE RACED, WE KEEP IT OLD SCHOOL Youth MAY participate in both the youth and the cross country bike race. Youth Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one Hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events). Long XC Bike
The MQT Trails Festival Cross Country Mountain Bike race takes place on Marquette's South Trails which have been rated among the best in the nation for mountain biking. Riders will experience a great variety of trail types including flow trail segments, classic bench cut singletrack of varying difficulty, long climbs, fast descents and of course lots of technical singletrack. Short segments of 2 track and road are used to accommodate passing. E BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE RACED, WE KEEP IT OLD SCHOOL Participants will receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival Hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple festival events).
