ACTS 5K
The ACTS Run/Walk 5K 10K is a timed event using the High Density Digital Tag Timing with disposable tags. Your "timing chip" is in your bib! This is a beautiful course in Warsaw, IN. Both distances will give you a view of Pike Lake and include an amazing finish as you go through the Beyer Farm trail. The The two-thirds of a mile trail includes an 1800 linear foot boardwalk through the 60-acre wetland. Runners and walkers have said this is a wonderful course and can't wait to participate each year. Water will be available throughout the course. We are proud to have 5 year age groups. Awesome medals for the top 3 in each age group! We will have an overall winner Awards for male and female for both the 5K and 10K distances. All participants 12 and under will receive an award for accomplishing the event. Great refreshments and door prizes will be available following the event finish. The net proceeds of the event will help to feed and educate children in our school in Haiti. Proceeds also will purchase food for families in our local community. We will also be donating funds toward an elementary school to purchase need Physical Education equipment. We are excited to give you an option to substitute your t-shirt with a tank top race shirt and offer flash arm bands for your outside evening running. Day of registration is $20 from 7:30-8:45 AM. Pre-register by June 14th $15. You can pick up your shirt and race bib at pre-registration table between 7:30 AM and 8:45 AM on race day. We hope that you can come out on June 20th. You will help to make our day incredible.
Kids Mile Run
The Kid Mile Run has become a family event that offers children an opportunity to keep active and accomplish a great achievement. We are dedicated to keeping children active during the summer and are so glad to announce that all participants will receive an award!! The Kid Mile is a Free event but if you would like to add a shirt the cost is $9. The course allows for the a great run on the board walk and is a safe route for kids. Parents are able to join their child on this course and enjoy the experience. We will be tracking the participants of the local elementary schools and will have a competition to see how many students participate in any of the events.
