"Run The Race" 5K
The ACTS Run/Walk 5K 10K is a timed event using the High Density Digital Tag Timing with disposable tags. Your "timing chip" is in your bib! This is a beautiful course in Warsaw, IN. Both distances will give you a view of Pike Lake and include an amazing finish as you go through the Beyer Farm trail. The The two-thirds of a mile trail includes an 1800 linear foot boardwalk through the 60-acre wetland. Runners and walkers have said this is a wonderful course and can't wait to participate each year. Water will be available throughout the course. We are proud to have 5 year age groups. Awesome medals and awards for top 4 in each age group! We will have an overall winner Awards for male and female for both the 5K and 10K distances. All participants 12 and under will receive an award for accomplishing the event. Great refreshments and door prizes will be available following the event finish. The net proceeds of the event will help to feed and educate children in A.C.T.S. school in Haiti. Proceeds also will purchase food for families in our local community. We will make a special donation to help children health and activity in our community. We are excited to give you an option to substitute your t-shirt with a tank top race shirt Day of registration is $25 from 7:30-8:45 AM. Pre-register by June 15th $20. You can pick up your shirt and race bib at pre-registration table between 7:30 AM and 8:45 AM on race day. We hope that you can come out on June 17th.
