About the Event
The 49th Annual Mission Inn Run returns to downtown Riverside on October 18, 2026!
The Mission Inn Run, a signature Riverside event and key fundraiser for the Mission Inn Foundation, has been a Southern California Tradition for nearly 50 years. This historic race has traditionally launched in downtown Riverside, winding through the parks, landmarks and historic neighborhoods of our town. Proceeds support the nonprofit Mission Inn Foundation and Museum.
Races include the 5K, 10K and ½ Marathon with dedicated 5K Walk (perfect for the kids and pups!) Everyone from competitors to casual strollers are invited to join us!
• All participants will receive the 2026 limited edition dry-tech T-shirt
• All participants will receive 2026 finisher medal
• All participants will receive limited edition non-woven reusable tote bag
· Walk & Wag partnership with Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center w/ pet bandana, pop-up dog park and more
• All teams of 5 or more receive a $5/discount per member
• Earn up to $20 off your registration by referring 5 or more friends (codes available after registration)
The Mission Inn Run, a Riverside tradition since 1977, is the primary fundraiser for the Mission Inn Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit museum organization. The Mission Inn Run is the trademarked intellectual property of the Mission Inn Foundation. There is no affiliation with the Historic Mission Inn Corporation, nor does the Historic Mission Inn Corporation benefit from or support this event. Join fellow runners on October 18, 2026 for the MISSION INN RUN. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, 2K featuring a flat and fast course in Riverside.

Running
5K Run
All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag.
10K
All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag.
1/2 Marathon
All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag. Time Limit: Four Hours
Kids Fun Run (1/2K)
Participants must be 12 or under. Parents can join their kids on the course. All KFR participants will receive a Special Medal. Children shirts are not included.
Virtual 5K (Virtual Run/Walk)
A virtual 5K. Run or walk anywhere you'd like (including a treadmill!) All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag.
Virtual 10K (Virtual Run/Walk)
A virtual 10K. Run or walk anywhere you'd like (including a treadmill!) All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag.
Virtual 1/2 Marathon (Virtual Run/Walk)
A virtual 1/2 Marathon. Run or walk anywhere you'd like (including a treadmill!) All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag.
Walking
5K Walk
All participants will receive bib, Mission Inn Run T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and tote bag. No age division awards. If you would like to be considered for an age division award, please change registration to 5K Run (even if you plan on walking).
