Kick off Montgomery Whitewater's first-ever Whitewater Rodeo with the Boot Scootin' Boogie 5K! Lace up your running shoes and enjoy a scenic course through Montgomery Whitewater as part of a day full of rodeo-themed fun, family activities, live music, and whitewater adventures.
Whether you're chasing a personal best or just looking for a fun way to start your morning, this race is perfect for runners of all experience levels.
Registration Includes:
-Official race T-shirt (guaranteed for participants registered by July 20)
-Post-race beverage
-Complimentary mechanical bull ride
-Access to Whitewater Rodeo festivities throughout the day
After crossing the finish line, stick around for awards, line dancing, refreshments, live entertainment, and all the excitement of the Whitewater Rodeo.
Register by July 20 to guarantee your race T-shirt.
All participants registered by Monday, July 20, 2026, will receive a commemorative T-shirt.

AWARDS
5K Race Results & Awards at conclusion of the race. The overall top runners (M/F) and first in 5-year age group divisions (M/F) will receive awards!
Please note that this event will be held rain or shine! In extreme inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel the event for participant safety without refunds.

Montgomery Whitewater’s 5K Runs are multi-terrain races set within the unique landscape of Montgomery Whitewater. Participants will experience a dynamic course that may include paved paths, gravel trails, and natural surfaces, offering a fun and engaging challenge for runners and walkers of all levels. Cost $35 Includes: 5K, post-race beverage, mechanical bull ride and commemorative t-shirt guaranteed if registered by Monday, July 20th Friday, July 31st 3–6 PM: Packet pick-up/late registration at Montgomery Whitewater adjacent to the Outfitter's store. Saturday, August 1st 7:30 AM: Race Day Late Packet Pick-Up 8:30 AM: Boot Scootin' Boogie 5K Start 5K Race Results & Awards at conclusion of both races
