NATIVE-X Race
WHAT IS AN OBSTACLE FITNESS RACE: The MOST FUN TEST OF FITNESS! We will run short interval laps between completing 4 OBSTACLE FITNESS ZONES. Each OBSTACLE FITNESS ZONE will have 2 Obstacles (think walls, monkey bars, rope climbs, etc.) and 2 Functional Fitness Exercises (think deadlifts, wall balls, etc.). We stage our OBSTACLE FITNESS ZONES in one area, so that spectators can hang out and cheer you on along the way. Spectators are FREE.
5K Race: More Running. Lighter Weights. Challenging Obstacles.
- COMPETITVE and FOR FUN race options.
COMPETITIVE wave requires 100% Obstacle & Exercise Completion. Competitors in the competitive wave category must be on site and checked in by 9:30 a.m. to compete for awards otherwise they will revert to the For Fun category. Awards are give to Top 3 Overall Male & Female and Top 3 Masters (40+) Overall Male & Female.
FOR FUN wave is simply that. Enjoy the challenge to the best of your ability with friends and family.
Strength Standards: 155#/95# Deadlift & 50#/30# DBs Farmer Carry.
2.5k Race: Less Running. Heavier Weights. Challenging Obstacles.
- COMPETITVE and FOR FUN race options.
- COMPETITIVE wave requires 100% Obstacle & Exercise Completion. Competitors in the competitive wave category must be on site and checked in by 7:45 a.m. to compete for awards. Awards are give to Top 3 Overall Male & Female and Top 3 Masters (40+) Overall Male & Female.
- FOR FUN wave is simply that. Enjoy the challenge to the best of your ability with friends and family. Kids may run with parents in the FOR FUN wave.
- Strength Standards: 225#/155# Deadlift & 70#/50# DBs Farmer Carry.
- COMPETITIVE race for those kids that have the ability to complete the course without assistance from a parent. Kids in the competitive wave category must be on site and checked in by 8:00 a.m. to compete for awards.
- There will be no weighted exercises in the Kid's Competitive Race. Instead, there will be body weight exercises such as lunges, burpees, sit ups, etc.
- Awards will be given to Top 3 Male and Female.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE: One Sweet Lookin' Race Medal, Awesome Finisher Shirts, and some Memories (some painful, some not)

Races Offered
Obstacle race
2.5k INDIVIDUAL - Competitive
MALE Athletes should be able to Deadlift 225# and Farmer Carry 2x 70# Dumbbells. FEMALE Athletes should be able to Deadlift 155# and Farmer Carry 2x 50# Dumbbells. In the Competitive race, athletes run while wearing a Competitive race wrist band. In order to keep the band and be eligible for prizes, all obstacle and functional fitness exercises must be completed 100%. If a Competitive racer can't complete an obstacle or exercise, they must turn in their wrist band, but they can still finish the race. There are prizes for 100% completion by the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Competitive finishers, and for Top 3 Overall Masters (40+ age group) Male and Female finishers.
2.5k DOUBLES - For Fun or Competitive (team price)
MALE Athletes should be able to Deadlift 225# and Farmer Carry 2x 70# Dumbbells. FEMALE Athletes should be able to Deadlift 155# and Farmer Carry 2x 50# Dumbbells. In the Competitive Doubles Team Race, athletes must wear matching shirts/tops. Athletes must stay within arms reach of their teammate at all times and must complete all runs together. Teammates may split up the completion of all functional fitness exercises and obstacles at their discretion. Only one person on a team may be completing an exercise/obstacle at a time. If splitting reps of an exercise, partners must share the same equipment (barbell/sled/dumbbells, etc). Teammates can not move ahead to the next exercise/obstacle until the previous one is fully completed. For obstacles, if the first teammate designated to complete the obstacle fails, the next attempt must be from the start of the obstacle. There is no help from teammates allowed on obstacles. The Cargo Net, Small Wall Hurdles, 10' Wall, and Angled Walls must be completed by both teammates. For Competitive Doubles Teams, both teammates must wear the Competitive Athlete wrist band. If neither teammate is able to complete an obstacle or exercise, both teammates must turn in their wrist band to the nearest course judge before continuing on the course. If both wrist bands are not displayed at the finish line, a team will be disqualified from awards eligibility. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male Teams only (team age will not be a consideration for awards).

5k INDIVIDUAL - For Fun
Our FOR FUN race is all about having FUN. Do your best to complete all the running, obstacles, and functional fitness exercises. If there's something you can't do, have a friend help, or just bypass the challenge and train harder for your next race. All OPEN race athletes receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.
1 Mile FOR FUN Kids (ages 5-10)
This is an untimed, FOR FUN, event for kids aged 5-10. This course will be set up separate from the adult course, and will include 8 total obstacles and exercises that are fun and challenging for kids.
